I’m at work again after 2½ weeks of vacation. Lovely weeks by the way, really nice with some time off from everything! As I wrote in my previous entry I visited family and so I come bearing a few pictures from the trip.

Phew. So, work. Very lonely as there are only three people there at the moment. Sloooow as well. I have the day off tomorrow though so yay for that.

It is too hot here, I’m getting a headache it seems. The nights are the worst but having a window open doesn’t really help either. I know I shouldn’t complain about the weather, but I’m still hoping for rain this weekend.

Okay, so I’m leaving in about an hour. Just checking in and letting you know the reason I won’t be blogging this time is because I’ll be out of town.

I hope you kids will have a great time while I’m gone! If you’re in a particularly sunny place I’d appreciate you sending some of your sun my way so we don’t have rain all the time Thanks! haha.

I have so much stuff to do before leaving on Thursday. Because I’ll be working by myself in the reception for four weeks when I get back, and my boss will be gone as well, there are things at work that need to be sorted too.

With work and all I’ll be a busy bee these next few days, but can’t wait until leaving! 11 days in a itsy bitsy town with family and mosquitos. Ah, life. Hoping for sun, sun & more sun during my time there as I plan to do nothing but relax and come back refreshed and full of life. Yeah, I don’t know. Just want to take real advantage of these two weeks of vacation before work again.

Speaking of work, I’ll be applying for my own position this week, haha. Don’t know if I’ve written about it here, but I’m really only the temp and they can’t just let me have the position, they have to put out an ad for it. Seeing as I’ve had it for seven months already I’ll probably get to keep it anyway. We’ll see. The interview will be fun with them already knowing me, haha.

Anyway, I’ve been on a The Office kick lately, so I’m gonna go watch a few more episodes and then return comments.

I have a week vacation from work and so far it’s been really boring, thanks to the not so pleasant weather we’ve been having. I don’t mind the rain, I love it, it’s the feeling of restlessness that’s annoying me. I’m normally off 2 days a week so a whole week shouldn’t be all that different, and yet it’s Tuesday and here I am bored.

It is nice having a few days off, so I shouldn’t really complain — at least I get stuff done like taking care of this site, reading, cleaning, watching all the movies I’ve been meaning to watch… if it had been sunshine and really hot all I’d probably be doing is lay out in the sun all day, so this way I’m at least being more productive, haha.

This evening was quite nice however which resulted in a walk I just got in from. Gonna go grab a cup of tea now and watch a movie before bed. Let’s hope for some sun tomorrow!
